Tomb to Womb – step 5

We are at the fifth and final step to turning a tomb into a womb! How are you doing? Have you put all the other steps into practice? They are so simple and so practical. If you have been following along, please comment below and share your experience. You can also contact me at I would love to hear from you.

So let’s do a quick re-cap before we go into the fifth and final step.

Step One: Pay attention to what you are hearing

Step Two: Stay in the Word

Step Three: Guard your heart

Step Four: Watch what you say

Today, we’re going to look at the last step to create room for the impossible to be conceived, developed and birthed from within your heart. Step five is simply this…

Hold on to the vision

“Look straight ahead, and fix your eyes on what lies before you. Mark out a straight path for your feet; then stick to the path and stay safe. Don’t get sidetracked; keep your feet from following evil.”
Proverbs 4:25-27 NLT

One of the things that is keeping me going in this weird season of uncertainty, is keeping my focus on the assignment that God had given me at the beginning of the year. I am so busy writing the book that God put on my heart to write, that I haven’t had much time to pay attention to what is happening out there in the world.

Joining a mentoring programme in November last year, has helped me to clarify the vision God has put on my heart and as I followed the little steps they have put before me, I can see this vision taking shape.

There is something powerful that happens when we respond to the Word and take little steps of obedience towards it.

Mary had to make preparations for this new life. She did not only have to conceive and give birth to Salvation, she had to raise Him. Until it was time for Jesus to fulfill the prophetic promise of becoming the Saviour of the world.

Mary wrote down the vision as she wrote a song of praise. You can read it in Luke 1:46-56. She created a clear picture as she wrote down her words of adoration, not just for the little baby that was to come, but for the Saviour, Deliverer and King He would grow up to be.

Having a clear vision of what God has asked of you, is the first step to releasing the Word that He has planted in you. Next you need to define some clear steps to get there. For me, this meant investing in a mentoring programme that could help me define the steps to take. This is why I joined

You don’t need to have all the answers right now in order to be obedient to the call of God on your life. You just need to take the first step of obedience. The Lord will show you the door, and He will open it for you. Just follow in His footsteps. He is faithful to lead you all the way to the end.

What is the assignment that God has put on your heart? Write it down. Break it down into little steps that will move you forward. Don’t listen to the voice of the enemy that will try to tell you that you’re not called or qualified. You are both!

As you take your assignment seriously, the Spirit Himself will come upon you, take up residence within you and surround you as you take your first steps of obedience.

Step by step you will grow in confidence and walk out every step of the call that God has placed on your life.

Dear friend, I pray that you will rise up in the confidence of who God says you are. May you believe that you are both called and qualified by the blood of Jesus, to be one who releases faith for the impossible on the earth. I pray that you will have a clear vision of what God wants to do through you. May you have the boldness to lay hold of every promise that God has written on your heart.

Today, I hear the Father say: “Awesome Child! How I delight in your little steps of obedience. Let me assure you that with every step you take, Heaven aligns with you. You have my life-creating Spirit and my Word of Truth dwelling inside of you. These life-forces are unstoppable. You may see yourself as a jar of clay, I see you as a vessel of creative power. There is great treasure in you. Believe it. Release it. See the impossible.” ❤
